Albion's last-day drama - how was it for you?

The Argus: Andrea Orlandi and David Lopez celebrate Andrea Orlandi and David Lopez celebrate

Albion are in the top six – and they did it amid high drama at the City Ground.

Were you there? Did you watch it on TV?

Were you up at the crack of dawn somewhere across the Atlantic to take in the excitement online or on TV?

It was hard watching for almost two hours, wasn’t it?

But that finale at around 2.15pm will be fondly remembered for years.

Derby are up next in a two-leg semi-final. They have already done the double over the Seagulls.

But let’s not worry about that too much just yet!

This was a famous day for the Seagulls.

Where does this afternoon’s drama rank among your Albion-supporting experiences?

We’d love to know.

Exhilarating atmosphere! Won every 50-50 ball and the match, everything else was anxious. Superb support at the City Ground and unfinished business with Derby and Wigan in the final.

What a crazy game football can be !!
Brilliant result prolongs the dream of a Wembley final.
I'd love to say we played great, but in truth we didn't.
Ulloa was dreadful, missed a sitter, got caught offside far too many times yet was on the spot to grab the winner from CMS fantastic cross.
I was wondering why CMS was not introduced 15 minutes sooner as we were definitely lacking punch up front, but eventually March, Lua Lua and CMS were introduced to give us an edge that wasn't there with Buckley, Orlandi and Lingard on the pitch.
Not many shots from a " must win game", but we made it in the end and that feeling is fantastic.
I still hope we show more attacking intent on Thursday v Derby and really think that it may well be worth starting with March and CMS.
Buckley was well out of form today and Lingard quite peripheral and it could well be that both of them might have more impact coming on as an impact sub, rather like Kazenga showed today.
A special word too for Stephen Ward. He more than anyone epitomises the desire necessary to get results and yet again gave us belief with that all important first goal. I do hope we offer him a position next season.

I didn't realise that Leo was booked!!. From BBC site:-'Leonardo Ulloa (Brighton and Hove Albion) is shown the yellow card for excessive celebration. I think this is a stupid rule and refs should be given happy pills before they go on the field!

How can a celebration in the context of that game ever be excessive?

Great move by OG to rest Upson against lower league rubbish Yeovil. That way we had Upson back against a real team and Dunk out.Great move OG.
Yes but your uncle Greer made a big mistake at 10 mins and again on 25 mins and even worse error on 69 but I show him respect as an Albion player who has played more times positive than the mistakes he has made this season. Maybe you ought to try getting behind the team instead of slating individuals.
I suppose if we lose in the next couple of matches if Upson has to rest then it will be all Dunks fault.

I try and stay realistic and post my opinion as I see it.
