Leo Ulloa has dedicated the goal which secured Albion’s place in the play-offs to his brother Pichu, who supports him from afar in Argentina.
He was straight on the phone back home after the game to give the good news after Albion’s 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest which secured sixth spot.
The striker said: “He is always following how I get on and we were talking in the run-up to the game.
“He told me I would definitely score and we would get to the play-offs.
“I’m off to talk to him but I think he would have seen it on TV somehow.”
Ulloa added: “I love playing in England and I want to keep helping this club hit its targets.
“It’s an important goal. But if we end up winning the play-offs it will be worth a lot more than it is today.”
