David Lopez is out of contract at Albion

Albion's Spanish Daves could be heading for the exit at the Amex as the process of revamping the squad begins following defeat in the play-offs against Derby County.

David Lopez and David Rodriguez are among numerous members of the first team squad out of contract.

Midfielder Lopez, eventually re-signed last summer after an infuential campaign, has been out of form for much of the season and was out of favour during the run-in.

His last start was against Middlesbrough at the end of March.

Former Celta Vigo striker Rodriguez made only seven starts after signing a short-term deal at the end of the January transfer window.

The list of players out of contract includes Tomasz Kuszczak, Bruno and Matt Upson, all regular members of the second-tightest defence in the Championship.

If OG does leave then same scenario as last season,TB really needs to sort out these boardroom issues. Great stadium, great training facilities and team struggling next season with a new management team, when will they ever learn.
FFP will be achieved temporarily and then watch the season ticket holders start to cancel.
A very unhappy state of affairs.

It isnt all doom and gloom is it? I personally think its been a good season, for me brighton are in a win win situation here as if OG does leave my understanfing is that it wont cost a penny. If he decides to stay then hes now got a seasons experience in the championship and he would have learnt a lot this season.
We were never going to be pushing for auto promotion as we are 2 or 3 players short, adding in to the fact we have had long spells without ulloa and buckley who are probably are two biggest attacking threats and not forgetting cms and hoskins injuries i think 6th is a decent finish.

We need to be realistic in saying that it was a good season, time to rebuild now and add quality not quantity to the squad.
