Albion duo Solly March and Jake Forster-Caskey have been called up by England under-21s for the prestigious Toulon tournament.

The duo will join up with Gareth Southgate’s squad for group fixtures against Qatar, Colombia, Brazil and the Korean Republic.

They are also in the squad to play Wales – along with ex-Albion loanee Jesse Lingard - ahead of the trip to France.

This is a first England call for Sussex boy March.

Forster-Caskey featured for several England age group teams in recent years.

England play Wales at the Liberty Stadium on May 19 while the four games in Toulon are squeezed in between May 22 and May 30.

seems someone sees something in jfc. I like him and think for the most part he played well. Against derby was his worst game by a long way

Congratulations to you both, well deserved recognition for the way you have both performed this season well done. The club also deserves praise for their efforts in bringing out the best in our young players and of course Oscar who put his trust in them both, SEAGULLS.

Proof if proof were needed that JFC is rated by those genuinely in the game.

If JFC is as poor as some claim I'd live to hear them explain how he's in the U21 squad. Young, but with bags of potential, he will get better and better. Maybe not to full international class or even top end premier league class, but still a very decent player.

How long until young Ince makes the same transition to the U21 squad? This is the future of a club working within the constraints of FFP.

I will not reply to him directly,
but freescum has sunk to a new level.
I am not religious, but I think his new name is utterly tasteless considering the abuse and hate he dishes out.

Excellent news re JFC & Solly, well deserved both of them.
I have been a defender of JFC. I believe he has performed well for us and is still young and learning his trade.

A good bit of news at the end of a disappointing few days. Glad to see that both players are so highly regarded. Acknowledgement of the work Oscar did with youngsters and a nice legacy for OG to leave the club.
