Midfielder Matt Aldred has become the second Eastbourne Borough to pledge his future to the club.

Aldred has followed centre-back Adam Watts in signing a new contract for the 2014-15 season.

Manager Tommy Widddrington is still waiting for answers from nine other players who have been offered deals.

Widdrington said: “A local lad, Matt is living proof that if you're good enough, at any age, there is an opportunity to play at Priory Lane.”
