Lewes are closing in on their first new signings of the summer while continuing to tie down members of the existing squad.

Goalkeeper Rikki Banks is the fifth player from the squad Garry Wilson and Danny Bloor have built at the Dripping Pan to pledge his future to the club for next season.

Banks follows Jack Dixon, Fraser Logan, Nathan Crabb and Sam Crabb in agreeing to stay for another season.

Striker Luke Blewden has also made his loan move from Tonbridge Angels permanent.

Wilson and Bloor have met with potential signings and are hoping to get some answers over the next week or so.

Banks missed only four league games for Lewes last season after rejoining the club from Wealdstone.

Bloor said: “Rikki is a popular player at the club and fans will be pleased to hear he has re-signed.

“He did well for last season and is part of our plans as we look to push on.

“Garry and I are pleased all these players have agreed to stay. It is important to what we are trying to do here.”
