American teenager Madison Keys became the youngest woman to win a grass court event for five years at Eastbourne today.
The 19-year-old beat German fifth seed Angelique Kerber 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 in 1hr 55mins in the final of the Aegon International.
Caroline Wozniacki was 12 days short of her 19th birthday when she won Eastbourne in 2009.
Big-hitting Keys, currently 47 in the world, is likely to rise much higher than her current rating.
She hit 19 aces and a 126 mph serve during the match, believed to be the fastest of the year so far by any player on the women's tour.
