Burgess Hill have made Lewes defender Andy Pearson their first signing of the summer.

Pearson, who can play at full-back or in the centre, began his career at Albion and made 28 appearances for the Rooks last season after rejoining the club from Whitehawk.

Hillians boss Ian Chapman said: “I’m delighted to have signed Andy. He is a good, footballing centre-half with good experience at this level and higher having helped Whitehawk to two league titles.”

Burgess Hill have also confirmed player-of-the-season Joe Keehan has pledged his future to the club.
