Looks like the DS lads are going to be getting their chance big time this season, Rea, Goodwin and Asmundsson are 3 that might make the step up imo, also be interesting to see what Agustien performs like?
Hopefully no injuries then off to Spain! Frustrating times ahead! Despite all our worries, (transfers/wages etc) would we support anyone else! NO. UTA

We have one of the best players in the Championship, and certainly the best player at Brighton and Hove Albion under contract.
If Kemy Agustien can sort himself out, he will be a great asset to the team. Otherwise he will continue to be a drain on resources, while at the same time leaving the Club needing another player for his position.

Thank goodness for a game to talk about at last. Nice to see Ulloa still wearing the shirt. Not gone yet then!

I see SH has included 6 members of the DS who have not played for the first team before. It will be interesting to hear how they well they play. I notice that the young trialist Cole (ex Chelsea ?) is not in either BHA team. Does anybody know if he is still training with us ?
I am looking forward to reading the report of the game later today - I am on holiday in France. UTA.

Any chance of doing a bit of scouting while you are over there, Ballantrrae?

Sadly no Sky Sports here but I have been able to watch the World Cup on BBC and ITV.
Pleased to hear that the Albion are 4-0 up thanks to SMF20's post. Correct me if I am wrong but that is more goals than we scored in any pre-season friendly last year which bodes well for the coming campaign (although one swallow doesn't make a summer etc).

Not sure who learned more about their squads, the Lewes manager or Hyppia, I hope that the future friendlies offer a sterner test, and yeah, who is Fenelon, possibly a trialist?

Hi Ballantrae, weather isn't the best . People tend to think that the French leagues are weak but there are some gems out there . Ribery was at Guingamp which is north of me,Koscielny came from nowhere before joining Lorient briefly and then onto Arsenal . We only need to find a couple like them and away we go . Enjoy your Hols.
