Peacehaven striker Charlie Walker is set to join Luton Town on a two-year deal.

The Magpies hotshot has impressed on trial with the League Two new-boys and is expected to put pen-to-paper this week.

Walker netted 43 goals as Peacehaven won the Ryman south title and the Sussex Senior Cup last season.

The 24-year-old moved to the Sports Park from Whitehawk last summer, having been on loan the previous season.

He previously had spells in the County League with Shoreham and Lancing.

Peacehaven manager Shaun Saunders revealed recently that Walker was attracting attention from a number of suitors.

He also said he would not stand in the way of any player who wanted to progress in the game.
