Gwion Edwards make his first appearance for Crawley since completing his switch from Swansea City against Fulham at the Checkatrade.com Stadium today.

Edwards missed the first two pre-season games against Billingshurst and Oakwood due to a delay in processing the paperwork of the deal.

The 21-year-old is expected to operate in an advanced position on the right with Lewis Young on the opposite flank and Izale McLeod through the middle.

Josh Simpson, Connor Henderson and Jimmy Smith form a three-man midfield with new signing Dean Leacock at the heart of the defence against his former club alongside Joe Walsh. Lanre Oyebanjo and Ryan Dickson are the full-backs with Brian Jensen in goal.

Goalkeeper Raphael Spiegel is on the bench after joining on loan from West Ham along with seven trialists – including former Fulham striker Collins John.

Fulham include ex-England international Scott Parker along with striker Hugo Rodallega in a team which combines youth and experience.
