Crawley took another look at Anthony Stewart as they ran out 2-1 winners against Conference premier Woking at Kingfield tonight.

The out-of-contract Wycombe Wanderers centre-back was given the last 25 minutes to show what he can do, having also played at Three Bridges on Monday.

Fellow trialists Craig Robson, Charles Banya and Harold Odametey were also given brief runouts in the second half.

Crawley took the lead from the penalty spot on 34 minutes following a push on McLeod who got up to convert from 12 yards.

A second goal followed 29 minutes from time when substitute Emmett O’Connor converted past a defender on the line after Gavin Tomlin’s burst into the penalty area.

Woking reduced the deficit 11 minutes from time after Sonny Bradley conceded a penalty which Scott Rendall tucked away.
