Nervy for a while but job done in the end.
LuaLua proved decisive.
Albion were comfortable at 1-0 but added a second on 90 minutes when MACKAIL-SMITH finished a one-on-one set up by LuaLua's pass.
The first goal under Hyypia’s management comes from a centre-back. LuaLua’s drive was blocked at the expense of a left-wing corner. LuaLua played it short, Calderon chipped a ball to the far post and DUNK arrived to head down and back across the keeper.

Decent chance for Dunk as he sends a free header just too high from LuaLua's corner on 72 minutes.
Cheers as LuaLua comes on.
He replaces Agustien.
Clever work by Bruno and it might have brought a breakthrough. Out towards the right, he took his time, assessed options and chipped a precise cross which O’Grady headed over.
Maybe the cross just needed a bit more pace on it.
Cheltenham have sent on Haworth for Gornell.
Very high and wide by Mackail-Smith from long distance but this is a bit better from the hosts.
Chicksen gets forward and chips up a tempting cross which keeper Carson fingertips to safety at the far post.
And then a real chance. O’Grady’s clever pass sends Agustien through on goal but he seems to get the ball tangled up in his feet. Eventually a Cheltenham player tries to hack it away, it hits Agustien and the rebound is grabbed by Carson.
Flurries of mild excitement at both ends as Dunk has to clear away from Harrison in the home box, then Chicksen gets on the end of a ball into the Robins area and sees his effort charged down.
Cheltenham are just starting to come into the game a bit more with Braham-Barrett keen to attack down the left.
Early Albion corner headed away as they attack an (empty) North Stand.
Second half is under way
Albion had two corners just before the interval which brought nothing.
Calderon conceded Cheltenham’s second corner, which Stockdale just about held on to at full stretch.
Play, though, was mainly in the Robins’ half - but without much to excite.
Albion are having plenty of the ball and trying to pass their way through a well-organised defence.
Biggest cheer of the last ten minutes was for Hyypia leaving his seat to stand right on the edge of his technical area for a few moments.
I think the award of a throw to Cheltenham right in of him moved Hyypia to emerge but the fans were glad to see him.
Albion still on top and having some joy down the right.
Calderon’s cross fizzed across goal and then a ball by Bruno was met by the head of O’Grady, but not with sufficient pace to test Carson who held easily.
Good work by Forster-Caskey to get away down the left and cross low. Calderon was right up there in the penalty area and his shot was blocked. He then charged down the resulting clearance and the ball ricocheted just wide with keeper Carson motionless.
Right on cue, Chicksen joins an attack, cuts inside and shoots not too far wide from the edge of the box.
CMS has been quite central and close to O'Grady so far.
They look to be playing as a pair.
Agustien is in behind them and Calderon and Chicksen bombing forward to provide with.

is cms part of a two man attack, or in a wide slot as part of a 3?
"Press, press" is the early cry from Nathan Jones to the #bhafc players out of possession.— @AndyNaylorArgus 12 August 2014
Albion attacking North to South in this first half - although both stands behind the goals are closed tonight, along with the East Upper.
Chicksen helped force an early corner down the left which Dunk headed over.
Cup football tonight at the Amex and confirmation first of all of how those three full-backs are playing for Albion.
As we predicted, Calderon is at right-back, Chicksen at left-back and Bruno on the right of midfield.
Of course, Calderon will often be further ahead of Bruno down the right given the way Hyypia has Albion playing.
