Albion winger Will Buckley could be on course for a move to the Premier League with his old boss Gus Poyet at Sunderland after missing Albion's Capital One Cup victory over Cheltenham at the Amex tonight.
Buckley was not in the squad for the Seagulls's 2-0 win against the League Two side.
Manager Sami Hyypia told The Argus afterwards: "He wasn't available for selection."
Asked why, Hyypia said: "I think you'll hear it in a few days."
Hyypia refused to discuss whether Albion have agreed a fee with Sunderland for the sale of Buckley. "I would rather talk about this game," he said. "This is more important for me than any other thing."
