Sami Hyypia praised Albion’s patience as they overcame a cup hurdle.

The Seagulls scored twice in the last 11 minutes to see off Cheltenham 2-0 in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

Hyypia said: “I thought before the game we needed to be patient.

"We needed to keep the ball moving for the whole 90 minutes and keep concentrating.

“Patience is what we needed because it’s never easy to play these games.

“An early goal would have eased things a little.

“When it’s 0-0 you have to be patient and make sure you don’t concede anything.”

Dull affair, reminded me of the rubbish we were served up at the Withdean pre Gus. JFC dead ball specialist, omg, dreadful, have to agree with freeloaders on this one, he is league one at the very best.
Agustein has to be one of the worst players signed by this club in many years, just awful.
Lua Lua changed the tempo once again, our best periods when he came on, our only flair player left now Buckley is as good as gone. O'Grady is another disappointment, seriously average. Dunk and Greer were solid, Chicksen so lightweight, any decent winger is gonna give him trouble.

I wonder who will be leaving next. I reckon if the price is right Kaz poss Bruno. With the squad we currently have in place we will are looking at mid to lower end of the table. I know Buckley hasn't been great recently but what sort of message is this sending to is fans by selling our best players over and over again.

looking forward to who we sign - vey soon,

Lua Lua is a great supper sub, but when I watched Saturday held the ball too long and should have passed, he didn't have the shot to finish unfortunately.

Enjoyed Bruno,

As I say I look forward to the signings and have faith in Tony who has put a fortune in the club and is aiming for the next level,

Pleased we won, expecting more god news soon,

I think the crowd tonight shows what the fans think low turn out even lower than last seasons cup game even at £1for kids, really hope tony has some good signings coming in before end of window or there maybe a few other games with those kind of gates before season ends :(

I don't think it matters Alfie - presumably he'll have influence all over the pitch.....

A little tip for all the optimists and members of the 3 Monkey Brigade... You should keep an eye on the oddschecker website which reveals that you can get 10/1 at Corals for a Top6 finish... Far better than the 7/1 at Bet365 with Bournemouth...(!!!). We are currently 14th in that particular league table, the lowest we've been for well over 2 years. And this morning's breaking news is that we are looking at McCourt, reputed to be the playmaker in a team with COG that got relegated... Inspiring stuff. And Lee Wallace... Hardly going to give the bookmakers a cardiac arrest.
Another tip... Wait another week. You'll be able to get 20/1.

Should be praising the supporters patience for watching such a struggle against a fourth division club. If we can't beat Cheltenham then who can we beat?

Up top of diamond but think we need a lot more help than him (GOD) a dire game by two very poor sides both void of any idea's roll on Brum on Saturday
