You knew they would beat Bolton. So what's your prediction as Albion face Charlton?

Albion took the spoils against Bolton, just as most of you predicted

Albion took the spoils against Bolton, just as most of you predicted

First published in Sport

It’s official! Albion’s win over Bolton was their most predictable result of the Championship season so far.

And their draw after 90 minutes at Swindon, followed by success in extra-time, kept you all guessing.

In our online poll last Saturday, 75% of those who voted said Albion would beat Bolton.

That was the best effort by our voters so far this season in the league (although we did not run a poll for the Cheltenham game).

It was also the first time more than half of you had predicted Albion would win in the run-up to a game.

The defeat to Sheffield Wednesday was forecast by 25% of you while 51% said the Seagulls would lose at Birmingham.

Only 15% of voters expected an Albion win at Leeds.

But the one which really caught you out was at Swindon, where we gave you a couple of extra options.

A whopping 82% of you said Albion would win in 90 minutes but only 4% went for the correct option – win in extra-time or on penalties.

So what do you reckon about the visit of Charlton? Cast your vote now and add your comment below.

We started the season with half a team had a couple of poor results.
Now we have a squad capable of beating any team in this league Charlton have started well and will I think be our toughest challenge to date.
With the squad we have though I see us taking this one with a comprehensive 3-1 victory tex first goal.

I say it every year ,great respect for Charlton and their supporters ,always good banter a few good beers and usually a very good game ,they got off to a flier with their new team and manager and good luck to them ,but we have got some great new lads to give us the teeth we were lacking in the last third ,as usual their fans have been generous with their predictions , on paper this is a draw for me ,but my heart says our new lads and Big Sami will have done their homework ,so sticking my neck out for a 3-1 Albion victory . C`mon you SEAGULLS !! .
