Albion boss Sami Hyypia will rotate his squad again at Ipswich tomorrow after handing Gary Gardner and Sam Baldock their first starts at Brentford.
Aaron Hughes is likely to return to the centre of defence alongside Albion’s first goalscorer Gordon Greer at the expense of Lewis Dunk, who escaped a red card for an early foul on Brentford striker Andre Gary and was then substituted at half-time.
Hyypia said: “I had a feeling that the referee observer or somebody went to the dressing room at half-time and said he should have sent Dunky off.
“I had a feeling as well that maybe in the second half if he fouled he would be given a second yellow and we would play the rest of the game with ten men. That’s why I took him off.
"For Dunky as well when you are on a yellow early in the game that can affect things but Aaron did well in the second half. I'm in a good situation that I have three good centre-backs."
