SAM Baldock insists there is better to come from him and new-look Albion.
The Seagulls are four games without a win in the Championship following Saturday’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Blackpool at the Amex.
Striker Baldock, one of six summer signings in Sami Hyypia’s starting line-up, told The Argus: “It’s a new system for a lot of people.
“On our day we have got players who can really hurt anyone. Unfortunately, it wasn’t one of those days and we didn’t click all together but I’m confident that we can turn the tide.”
Baldock made his third start since Albion bought him from Bristol City last month.
The Seagulls were beaten at Brentford and Ipswich and also drew at home on his debut as a substitute against Charlton.
Baldock said: “I’m really enjoying it. It’s strange, because the results haven’t been there. I think I have settled in quite well in the changing room.
“I am still yet to hit my best form and play the way that I can. There are glimpses coming out and I am looking forward to improving every day and every game. People are still getting used to my movement and everyone’s movement around it. As soon as we figure that out I think we’ll cause problems.”
