Former Albion boss Russell Slade is expected to be at the Amex tomorrow night, as a consultant for opponents Cardiff before taking charge of the Welshmen.
Cardiff and Slade's former club Leyton Orient are currently in dispute over his switch of clubs.
Cardiff owner Vincent Tan said: "We now have a little problem with Leyton Orient but that is being sorted out.
"He is helping us a little bit on consultancy until he can sort out his contract. Then we can officially hire him."
Slade's appointment is likely to be confirmed in time for Cardiff's trip to Blackpool on Friday night.
