Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey's next match could be for his country rather than his club.

Forster-Caskey has been named again by Gareth Southgate in the England Under-21s squad for their European Championship play-off over two legs against Croatia.

Forster-Caskey is suspended for the Seagulls' trip to Watford on Saturday after his fifth booking of the season in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Cardiff at the Amex.

The first leg of the Croatia tie is at Molineux on Friday October 10 (5.45pm), with the winners qualifying for the Euro finals in the Czech Republic next July.

Albion goalkeeper Christian Walton, meanwhile, has been included again in Aidy Boothroyd's England Under-20s squad for three games in five days in a mini four-nations tournament in the Netherlands next week.

Walton faces fresh competition from new call-up Joe Wildsmith from Sheffield Wednesday, as well as Exeter's Christy Pym, for games against Germany on October 9, the Dutch on October 11 and Turkey on October 13, all in Heerenveen.
