Sami Hyypia believes playing away from the Amex could help Albion tonight.
The struggling Seagulls try to stretch their unbeaten away run to four matches at Huddersfield following draws at Championship promotion contenders Watford and Nottingham Forest and a win at Burton in the Capital One Cup.
Albion, by contrast, have drawn three and lost one of their last four games at the Amex, including Saturday's defeat by Middlesbrough.
Hyypia told The Argus: "It might be a thing that many teams who come here come to defend deep and make it very difficult to attack.
"When the teams are playing at home they maybe think they have to be more adventurous, more offensive, and that creates more space for us.
"That is one thing that can help us away."
