Former Albion keeper Tomasz Kuszczak has been linked with a shock move to Bayern Munich.

German newspaper Die Welt claims they have turned to the Seagulls' No.1 last season after injuries to second-choice Pepe Reina and third-choice Tom Starke left Manuel Neuer as Bayern's only available keeper, according to the Daily Star.

Kuszczak is free to sign for Bayern outside the transfer window after Albion released him at the end of last season.

The 32-year-old ex-Polish international has been without a club since then, apart from a training stint with Oldham.

Kuszczak had Champions League experience with Manchester United and Bundesliga experience with his first club Hertha Berlin.
