Albion’s winless run stretched to ten league games after they let slip a rare 1-0 lead today.

The Seagulls scored first for only the third time this season as they drew 1-1 with Rotherham at the Amex.

It was hardly the result Sami Hyypia’s men wanted to kick-start their season.

But, in the end, they were grateful to two outstanding saves from David Stockdale at the death to preserve a point.

Joe Bennett scored from a narrow angle in first-half added time after initially mis-controlling Gary Gardner‘s ball into the box.

Former Albion striker Alex Revell drilled his side level on 49 minutes as the hosts failed to cut out a low cross.

It was pretty even from then on and Stockdale‘s two stops in added time, the second from Gordon Greer’s sliced clearance, ensured the points were shared.

But there were boos at the end.
