Albion's Saturday hosts Norwich have added Sir Alex Ferguson's former assistant to their backroom team.
Mike Phelan has been appointed first team coach of the Canaries.
Ex-Norwich captain Phelan will be working alongside Gary Holt in support of boss Neil Adams.
The 52-year-old was Ferguson's No.2 at Manchester United from 2008 until the legendary Scot's retirement in 2013.
Phelan replaces Mark Robson, who was axed by Norwich earlier this month.
He starts work back at Carrow Road after Albion's visit.
