Albion will still be without the last player to score against Norwich at Carrow Road tomorrow.

But it will not be too much longer before Solly March is available for selection again.

Boss Sami Hyypia revealed at his press conference this morning that the talented 20-year-old playmaker is back in full training.

March struck a spectacular equaliser in Albion's final pre-season friendly last year against Norwich at the Amex.

Supporters will have to wait to see the Eastbourne prospect return to action from a stress fracture of the back suffered in the pre-season friendly at Crawley in July.

Hyypia said: "Solly has been out for a long time and it would be foolish to put him on the field straight away.

"Maybe physically he could do it but then to expect him to be man of the match straight away is something that would not be realistic.

"Hopefully we can increase the load and then the day will come that he can be on the bench and coming from the bench to change the game and then, when the time is right, he can start games."

In the meantime, Albion need somebody else to step forward and end their wretched record against Norwich since beating the Canaries 1-0 at the Goldstone in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in 1983 on the way to Wembley.

Their only win in the ten subsequent competitive meetings between the clubs was at Carrow Road on Boxing Day 2002, when Steve Coppell's strugglers won 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Steve Sidwell, who is now back in the Premier League with Stoke.
