Gavin Tomlin says Crawley must play without fear for the whole 90 minutes to avoid being sucked into a relegation scrap.
Reds scored twice in the final 16 minutes to come from behind for the third game in a row at home to Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
A fourth consecutive draw in League One saw them slip to 17th in the table and Tomlin says they must be more positive right from the kick-off if they are to start turning draws into wins.
The Reds striker said: “We have got to go for the jugular from the start. We are the home side so we are expected to go at teams rather than sitting off.
“On Saturday we only started playing without fear when we were 2-0 down and you’ve got to do it for 90 minutes.
“In the end we are happy with a draw but if you keep drawing games you will still find yourselves down at the bottom of the table so we need to turn those draws into wins.
“We are undefeated in the last five in the league and as long as we show that same fight and desire that we had near the end in the first half we will be okay.”
