Darren Bent makes his Albion debut against Fulham today.
And Aaron Hughes also starts against his old club – with Gordon Greer absent from the 18 due to a minor but as yet unspecified injury.
The skipper is likely to miss one or two weeks.
Bent’s introduction on loan from Aston Villa is one of three changes to the team which kicked off at Norwich City last week.
Elliott Bennett and Lewis Dunk, both unavailable for that game, also return.
Dunk starts alongside Hughes at the back, Bent replaces Sam Baldock and Sami Hyypia has also given the side a more attacking look.
Bennett returns in place of holding midfielder Rohan Ince.
Solly March is among the subs after recovering from a back problem.
Albion: Stockdale; Bruno, Dunk, Hughes, J. Bennett; Forster-Caskey, Gardner, Colunga; E. Bennett, Bent, LuaLua. Subs: Walton, Halford, Calderon, Ince, Holla, March, Baldock
