Arsenal are second favourites for the FA Cup ahead of their trip to the Amex.

The Gunners were generally being offered at 3/1 – best price 7/2 - last night to retain the silverware after an afternoon of shocks.

Manchester United, who still face a home replay against Cambridge United, were widely being priced up at 11/4.

Liverpool were 9/2 or, at best, 5/1 after being held 0-0 at home by Bolton.

Arsenal were rated 7/1 shots for the trophy by bookies early yesterday afternoon.

But their price tumbled as Chelsea and Manchester City were both stunned at home.

Former Albion loanee Mark Yeates scored the final goal as Bradford came from 2-0 down to win 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile the Seagulls’ Championship rivals Middlesbrough won 2-0 at the Etihad.

Tottenham were on the wrong end of a turn-up as former Albion striker Leo Ulloa maintained his superb record in the Cup.

Ulloa equalised as Leicester won 2-1 at White Hart Lane and has now scored in all FIVE of his ties in the competition, all against Premier League opponents.

He kicked off the run on his Albion debut against Arsenal two years ago and has since registered against Hull City (two games), Newcastle and now Spurs.

It made for a happier cup trip to White Hart Lane than he had before Christmas, when he supported the Seagulls in the Capital One Cup.

Two other potential Cup candidates, Southampton and Swansea, also bowed out.

Saints lost 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace and ex-Albion loanee Craig Conway fired the final goal as Blackburn won 3-1 at home to the Swans.

A more recent Seagulls loanee, Darren Bent, opened his account for Derby County with a close range header in their 2-0 win at home to Chesterfield.
