Greg Halford is on course for a return to the Albion squad for Saturday's trip to Bolton Wanderers.

The utility player on loan from Nottingham Forest is back in training and, providing he suffers no reaction, could be added to the party travelling to the north-west for the Seagulls' sixth game in three weeks.

Halford missed the home wins against Birmingham last Saturday and Leeds on Tuesday with a knee injury.

Boss Chris Hughton said: "He's okay. We'll see tomorrow. He trained today which is good and had no adverse effects.

"What you always want, particularly at a time when you have got so many games, is to have as many players available as possible.

"That causes me more (selection) problems but they are the sort of problems you want."

Hughton is hopeful Dutch midfielder Kemy Agustien may still have a part to play this season after surgery on a persistent thigh muscle injury.

"At this moment he is quite a way from being fit and ready to play." Hughton said. "He hasn't been fit for most of the season. If he is able to get fit and available for any part of the season we'd be delighted."
