Albion fringe pair Adam Chicksen and Shamir Fenelon have been sent back out on loan.

Left-back Chicksen has linked up with League One play-off chasers Fleetwood Town for a month.

Striker Fenelon has joined League Two strugglers Dagenham and Redbridge, also for a month.

Chicksen, 23, had a loan spell at Gillingham earlier in the season.

He has been restricted to four Championship starts since Albion signed him from MK Dons on a three-year contract in July 2013.

Fenelon, 20, has been on loan to Rochdale and Tranmere Rovers this season and had a temporary stint at Torquay last season.

He has made one Championship appearance for the Seagulls and is among the players out of contract in the summer.

Albion manager Chris Hughton said: "It's important for our younger players' continuing development that they play as many games as possible at the highest level.

"Adam has the opportunity of games in League One, where he previously did very well during his time at Gillingham.

"Similarly with Shamir he will get regular games with Dagenham in League Two after a good spell at level with Tranmere in December and January.

"We will continue to monitor their progress and it is a great opportunity for both players to gain senior experience at a crucial stage in the season for both clubs."

The exits of Chicksen and Fenelon follow the recent loan departures of two more experienced members of the squad. Striker Adrian Colunga has gone back to Spain to Granada with a view to the move becoming permanent and midfielder Paddy McCourt has been borrowed by Notts County.
