Jake Forster-Caskey added to his tally of England under-21 caps tonight – and helped his country to an impressive away win.

The Albion midfielder played the full 90 minutes as Gareth Southgate’s men beat the Czech Republic 1-0 in a friendly at Sparta Prague’s home.

It was Forster-Caskey’s 12th cap at this level and came at the end of a trip which has been a key part of preparation for the Euro finals in the Czech Republic three months from now.

England stayed and trained in Olomouc, using facilities which will be their base in the summer.

Forster-Caskey remains a key midfield figure in a squad who now travel to Middlesbrough, where they will face Germany on Monday.

Tom Carroll scored the only goal two minutes into the second period after a goalkeeping mistake.

Former Albion loanee Jesse Lingard almost doubled the lead late in the contest.

Seagulls coach Nathan Jones was at the Letna Stadion to watch the game.
