Baff Addae grabbed a winner eight minutes from time as East Grinstead beat South Park 2-1 to climb out of the Ryman south releation zone.

The Wasps trailed to Chris Smith’s 21st-minute penalty but levelled with a spot-kick of their own eight minutes later which Steve Sargent converted.

Grinstead are now two places and three points above the drop zone with five games to play.

Three Bridges consolidated ninth spot in the table with a 2-1 victory at home to Corinthian-Casuals. Sam MacVicar followed up his hat-trick against South Park on Saturday with the opener on seven minutes and Tony Garrod added a second before half-time. Casuals replied on 57 minutes.

The Peter Bentley Cup semi-final between Chichester and Newhaven at Shoreham was abandoned after the floodlights had to be switched off due to an overheating generator. Newhaven were leading 1-0 at the time.

In County League division one, Crawley Down Gatwick claimed only their second league win of the season after fighting back from 2-0 down to beat Eastbourne United 3-2 with three goals in the last ten minutes.
