Albion have extended defender Adam Chicksen's loan deal with League One promotion challengers Fleetwood Town for the rest of the season, including the play-offs.

The Lancastrians are currently 12th but within four points of the top six.

Left-back Chicksen has made seven appearances for Fleetwood since joining them at the end of February for an initial month.

Their manager Graham Alexander said: "He was very keen to stay and he is a very good player that has done well for us. We are delighted with how he has come in and settled into the group."

Chicksen also played four games on loan to Gillingham before Christmas.

The 23-year-old has made four Championship starts for Albion since signing from MK Dons on a three-year contract in July 2013.
