Albion are scouring Europe in the hunt for goals.
They are concentrating their efforts abroad in a bid to unearth another Leo Ulloa.
The Argentinian talisman was sold to Leicester in the summer for £8 million.
Ulloa scored 26 goals in 58 games after Albion snapped him up from Spanish club Almeria for around £2 million in January 2013.
The Seagulls have struggled to replace him. They head for Wigan tomorrow still not safe in the Championship after two top six finishes with Ulloa in the team.
