Wigan have handed midfielder Tim Chow a debut and dropped their goalshy main striker as they face Albion today.

The Latics need a win today to keep survival hopes flickering and new boss Gary Caldwell has made two changes for his first home game in charge.

He brings local boy Chow into midfield for a first start and restores Don Cowie to midfield.

There are also positional changes. James Perch moves from midfield to right-back in place of Emmerson Boyce.

And James McClean is likely to be the front man after one-goal Marc-Antoine Fortune was dropped to the bench.

Centre-back Jason Pearce starts after his red card at Millwall in midweek was overturned.
