Chris Jordan is available for action with Sussex today after being released by England.
The all-rounder has been added to the Sharks squad to face Somerset in the NatWest T20 Blast in Taunton.
He can also play in the Championship fixture against Warwickshire at Hove, starting on Sunday.
The Argus revealed this morning that Sussex coach Mark Robinson expected Jordan to play in the four-dayer after being left out of the first Test against New Zealand.
His participation tonight was in more doubt but had not been totally ruled out.
