Former Albion favourite Bobby Zamora is among six players who have been released by Queens Park Rangers.

Zamora netted 83 goals in 136 games for the Seagulls after initially joining on loan from Bristol Rovers in February 2000.

He joined permanently in a £100,000 deal the following August and was sold to Tottenham for £1.5 million three years later.

Zamora subsequently played for West Ham and Fulham as well as winning two England caps.

Now 34, he played 33 games for QPR last season as they were relegated from the Premier League, netting three goals.
