Albion are interested in Feyenoord winger Elvis Manu as they try to increase their attacking options before the transfer window closes.

The 22-year-old is understood to be one of several targets for boss Chris Hughton as they seek to make two more signings.

Albion and Premier League newcomers Watford are believed to have had £1.5 million bids accepted by Feyenoord for Manu, who is also wanted by Bayer Leverkusen and Sporting Lisbon.

Manu, who can play on the left-wing or as an orthodox striker, is thought to prefer a move to England.

He scored 14 goals in 37 outings last season in the Dutch first division, Champions League and Europa League.

Manu has represented Holland from under-16 to under-21 level but is elgible for Ghana through his parents and coach Avram Grant wants him to switch allegiance.

The Argus revealed last week that Albion were plotting two further swoops into the transfer market for attacking players.

They are one of numerous clubs at home and abroad interested in Watford's Czech striker Matej Vydra.
