Chris Hughton praised his club’s efforts off the field during a tough week after they earned a big win at Ipswich Town.
Albion players remembered those who died in the Shoreham Airshow tragedy as they secured a 3-2 win.
Off the field, the club have looked after the emergency services at their Lancing training base – which is near the crash scene – and done what they can to support the family of their groundsman Matt Grimstone, who was among the victims.
Hughton said: "If I felt highly about our club before the events of last week then I certainly feel more now.
"The club have been absolutely excellent in everything they have done.
"That's regards the incident itself, the family (of Matt Grimstone), what they have done for the authorities.
"The police are using our training ground as a base and the club have been really excellent.
"Most would, of course, dedicate this win to them (the victims of the crash)."
