Tomer Hemed's goals for Albion appear to have earned him an international recall.

The Seagulls striker is almost certain to start for Israel against Andorra.

Hemed was unhappy to remain an unused substitute for their most recent game against Bosnia in June but has hinted he is part of the XI for tomorrow’s Euro 2016 qualifier.

He scored two goals in last Saturday’s 3-1 win at Ipswich and also converted penalties at Fulham in the league and at home to Sevilla in a friendly.

Club-mate Beram Kayal, also in fine form, is battling for a place in midfield for Israel, who visit Wales on Sunday in the highly competitive Group B.

Meanwhile, Albion goalkeeper Christian Walton has withdrawn from the England under-21s squad and returned from his loan stint at Bury due to an ongoing groin problem.

He will have treatment with the Seagulls’ medical staff at Lancing and prove his fitness in the club’s under-21s, with a view to securing another loan deal some time during the autumn.

Transfer window activity yesterday saw Premier League Bournemouth move in on THREE former Seagulls players.

They signed Glenn Murray, for £4 million from Crystal Palace on a three–year deal, and Joe Bennett, on loan from Aston Villa, as well as making an inquiry for out-of-favour Will Buckley at Sunderland.
