Gareth Southgate has highlighted the special relationship between Albion and the England set-up.

The Seagulls are staging a key Euro qualifier for Southgate's under-21s against Switzerland at the Amex next month.

Albion trio Solly March, Jake Forster-Caskey and Christian Walton are in the under-21s squad for the opening qualifier against Kazakhstan at Coventry's Ricoh Arena next Tuesday.

And Southgate invited first team coach Nathan Jones to St George's Park in the summer to help with preparations for the Euro finals in the Czech Republic.

Southgate, raised in Crawley, said: "They've got a great set-up and are really supportive of us internationally.

"We've had a few players in our system from down there, they have a great new training ground and the Amex is a super venue.

"It's a club we really enjoy working with. We've had Nathan Jones come to work with us before.

"Paul Barber (chief executive) was with The FA and we have a lot of good relationships there, so it's a game we're really looking forward to."

Tickets, top-priced £10, go on sale at the Amex on Thursday for the November 16 clash with the Swiss (5.45pm) and Southgate is hopeful of a bumper crowd.

"With the team doing as well as they are, that always has an impact on how people feel about games," he said.
