Boss Jamie Howell admits Bognor have been handed the toughest FA Cup assignment possible.
The Rocks take on high-flying Conference south outfit Oxford City in the third qualifying round at Nyewood Lane today.
Oxford are currently second in the division above Bognor and have lost just once in their 12 league games so far.
Howell said: “I don’t know too much about them but I do know they are a decent team. They play some nice football and are going really well so I don’t think we could have had a tougher draw.
“But it is a big game for us and we are looking forward to it. We beat Lowestoft in the last round who are in Conference north so we know on our day we can upset the odds.”
Bognor will be missing Craig Robson after he was handed an extra two-game ban and fined £150 for comments made to the referee following the 5-0 defeat to Tonbridge Angels in August when he was sent off.
Howell added: “It’s a shame as Craig has been excellent. I can’t condone what he did but in fairness to Craig he has a good disciplinary record so we were hoping that would have been taken into account.”
