Boss Mark Yates has made a double change in attack as Crawley Town bid to end their home goal drought.
Yates recalls Matt Harrold and Rhys Murphy who both sat out the 3-0 JP Trophy defeat to Southend on Tuesday which took Reds’ barren run at the Checkatrade.com Stadium to over eight hours.
Lewis Young also takes over from Liam Donnelly – who is on international duty ¬– at right-back for the clash with Leyton Orient with Lee Barnard and Luke Rooney dropping to the bench.
Reds boast a 100% record against Orient at home since their promotion to the Football League but have not tasted victory at the Checkatrade.com Stadium all season.
Callum Preston makes his Football League debut in goal with Freddie Woodman also on international duty along with Josh Yorwerth.
Reds are also without Jon Ashton through injury but Gavin Tomlin is among the substitutes after making his first appearance of the season against Southend.
Orient include former Crawley defender Connor Essam in defence alongside on-loan Albion full-back Adam Chicksen.
Crawley (4-4-2): Preston; Young, McNerney, Bradley, Hancox; Deacon, Smith, Walton, Edwards; Harrold, Murphy. Subs from: Scales, Barnard, Fenelon, Ashton, Tomlin, Jenkins, Rooney.
Orient: Cisak; Clohesy, Dunne, Essam, Chicksen; Payne, Pritchard, Moore, Cox; Palmer, Simpson. Subs: Grainger, Shaw, James, Moncur, Turgott, Kashket, Marquis.
