Darren Freeman has been named as the new manager of Lewes.
The former Albion favourite and Whitehawk boss replaces Steve Brown who stepped down on September 24.
Freeman has left his role as Peacehaven manager to take up the position with a club he played for as a youngster.
He applied for the Lewes job earlier in the season while out of management but was not successful on that occasion as Brown was appointed.
The 42-year-old joined Peacehaven as manager in August, just after the start of the season, but has been lured to Lewes by a higher standard of football.
Freeman has named former Lewes goalkeeper Ross Standen as his assistant.
He will take charge for the first time at Grays Athletic on Saturday.
A caretaker trio of Jay Lovett, Martin Hinshelwood and Steve Eke had been in charge at Lewes since Brown’s departure.
