Albion want to cut off the supply line to Burnley’s top scorer – and deny him a piece of history.

Andre Gray will become the first Clarets player to score twice in four successive home games if he bags a brace today.

Experienced Seagulls defender Liam Rosenior knows the danger the former Brentford striker offers.

But he insists they cannot concentrate just one one man.

Roisenior said: “He has an abundance of pace and his movement is fantastic in behind and he’s a goalscorer that can finish.

“I think football is a team game, so some people start to talk about individual players but maybe we need to stop the service into him.

“It comes from being organised and compact as a team and not paying as much attention to him, but making sure we perform to the best of our abilities.

“We’ve got strengths in our team, so maybe we need to make him defend and chase the ball and take him out of the positions he wants to be.

“It’s a bit of a cat and mouse but we are aware of his strengths and he has been on fantastic form and will probably continue that this season, just hopefully not on Sunday.”

Gray has ten league goals this seaon when his two for the Bees are taken into account.

He has struck up a profitable partnership with ex-Albion loanee Sam Vokes.

Widemen George Boyd and Scott Arfield tuck infield and join in attacks while midfielder David Jones is a regular provider of assists.
