Jack Harper completed his first full 90 minutes for Albion – and helped pick up an away point.
The Scottish midfielder completed the match as the Seagulls’ under-21s drew 0-0 with Wolves last night.
Harper went close with a header from Joe Ward’s cross in the second half of a contest played at Telford.
Albion were saved by their woodwork when Callum Harris shot against the bar with a free-kick.
Casper Ankergren made a decent save low down to secure his clean sheet.
Des Hutchinson continued his return from injury by playing the first 49 minutes.
The young Irish midfielder had come off the bench in the League Cup win over Norwich eight days earlier.
