Solly March’s sparkling performances have caught the eyes of the Sky Bet player of the month panel.

The Albion winger is on a four-man shortlist for the Championship prize for November.

His boss Chris Hughton is one of four contenders for the manager of the month prize.

March scored two goals, produced some exciting displays and made his competitive debut for England under-21s last month.

His rivals for the prize are Ipswich striker Darryl Murphy, who scored six goals in four games last month, Derby goalkeeper Scott Carson and Leeds midfielder Alex Mowatt, who twice netted from long range.

Hughton goes up against three bosses with whom he will pit his wits in league action this month Paul Clement (Derby), Aitor Karanka (Middlesbrough) and Mick McCarthy (Ipswich) are all on the shortlist.

Meanwhile Albion’s home clash with Brentford has been moved forward a day to Friday February 5 (7.45pm) and will be shown live on Sky.

The Seagulls under-18s are at Nottingham Forest tonight (7pm) in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
