Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey has rejoined MK Dons on loan for the rest of the season.

The England under-21 international is returning to Buckinghamshire in search of regular football after missing out on action with the Seagulls due to the form of Beram Kayal and Dale Stephens.

Forster-Caskey, on loan for a month to Championship strugglers Dons in September and October, is available for their FA Cup tie at Northampton tomorrow.

The 21-year-old will not be able to play against Albion in the League at Stadium MK when the teams meet on March 19.

Albion boss Chris Hughton said: "With the form of Dale Stephens and Beram Kayal in midfield, Jake has found it very difficult to get the number of games he would want.

"On the back of a very successful loan period with MK Dons earlier in the season, that opportunity has arisen again and we felt it would be an ideal move for all parties involved.

"Jake played regularly when he was there previously and that is something he is keen to do. The loan gives us an opportunity to watch and evaluate his progress while he is there."

Forster-Caskey made his Albion first team debut at the end of the 2009-10 season at the age of 16 – becoming at that time the club's youngest ever player.

He has scored nine goals in 82 games for the club but has been restricted to two substitute appearances in the Championship this season.

Forster-Caskey's repeat loan move coincides with stepfather Nicky Forster, the former Albion captain, resigning as manager of Staines Town after a year in charge on the back of six defeats in seven games.
