Chris Hughton expects his players to demand a repeat performance as they complete their run of three homes games.

The Seagulls are preparing to back up wins over Huddersfield and Brentford by adding to Bolton’s away-day woes on Saturday.

Hughton admits his side will now see their 3-0 taming of the Bees as the standard they must live up to for the rest of the season.

But he will not complain about any win as the promotion bid gathers pace again.

The Albion manager said: “You want certain standards from the team.

“What the players will be saying in the changing room now is that has got to be the benchmark.

“You cannot always have that and, if you said to me we would win the majority of our next games as scruffy 1-0s, then of course we would take that.

“But generally there has to be a level of performance.”

Bolton have not won away since Easter Monday, when they thumped Cardiff 3-0, but have taken seven points from their last three games, including a 2-2 draw at Wolves.

They will be handed a double boost in attack in time for their trip to the Amex.

Target man Gary Madine, whose late equaliser against the Seagulls in September forced a 2-2 draw, is fit again after a back problem.

And star attacker Zach Clough, who netted the winner against Albion almost a year ago, returns from a hip problem.
