Crawley have signed winger Jason Banton on an initial one-year deal - but skipper Sonny Bradley is on the way out.

Reds have failed to agree terms with the former Portsmouth centre-back.

Banton was most recently with Notts County having had spells at Liverpool, Leicester and Crystal Palace as a youngster.

The 23-year-old London also worked with Reds boss Dermot Drummy at Arsenal.

Drummy said: “I’ve watched his progress and I feel he can open up the way I want to play.”

Reds are close to agreeing new terms with Bobson Bawling and are also set to announce two signings in the next 24 hours.
